A 2.4-inch touchscreen makes sense if your keyboard doubles as a control panel for profiles, macros, and streaming. Add a number pad and five dedicated macro keys, and the KB5 suits Windows gamers who actually use those extra controls. Your mouse still needs somewhere to live: TechRadar found the board wide enough to interfere with swipes, making cramped, low-sensitivity shooter setups a poor match.
Turtle Beach lists 8K polling with 0.125 ms latency, giving your PC more frequent input updates. That doesn’t settle how the keys feel under your fingers. COGconnected found the Titan low-profile switches smooth and comfortable during long sessions, while TechRadar thought they needed a heavier touch. ComputerBase reported some initial roughness that eased with use but never disappeared completely.
The screen needs more patience than its shortcut-friendly pitch suggests. COGconnected and Tom’s Guide both reported unreliable touch input, with COGconnected encountering missed taps and accidental selections. COGconnected also found Swarm II awkward to navigate and Spotify integration unreliable, although Tom’s Guide considered the software user-friendly. If you expect dependable touchscreen controls without keeping companion software involved, skip this one.
Construction drew conflicting reactions, too: COGconnected praised a rigid chassis, and Tom’s Guide called it sturdy, while TechRadar disliked the plastic’s cheap feel. The aluminum top plate and double-shot PBT keycaps are concrete features, but they don’t establish durability. Available reviews cover short-term use, leaving long-term switch, screen, and software reliability unverified.
