SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Wireless

Low-sensitivity FPS players have a practical reason to go small: more room to swing the mouse. The 60% layout and 2.4GHz wireless connection make this a sensible pick for a compact PC gaming setup. Reviewers at 9to5Toys welcomed the extra mouse space and liked the smooth switches, though they found the plastic case less substantial than competing compact HyperX boards.

The adjustable actuation is the reason to choose this over a simpler keyboard. With 40 per-key settings, you can keep movement keys sensitive and make abilities require a deeper press. That flexibility matters more than chasing the shallowest setting: 9to5Toys settled around 1.8 mm after lighter settings caused typos and unintended movement. Dual-action keys also let one key handle two jobs; TechteamGB highlighted light W presses for normal movement and deeper presses for sprinting.

The missing dedicated arrow keys deserve more thought than the speed claims. One Technopat owner still found their absence frustrating after months of use, while Digital Trends found SteelSeries GG confusing. TechteamGB also reported a keypress and a couple of seconds of waiting after sleep in its 2022 test; that does not establish how current firmware behaves. Choose it if you will tune sensitivity and already live comfortably with function-layer shortcuts. Skip it if spreadsheets, coding, or writing make dedicated navigation keys part of your daily rhythm.
