SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P Wireless Gen 2

Taking a phone call shouldn’t require abandoning your game audio. The Nova 7P Gen 2 mixes 2.4GHz wireless game sound with Bluetooth phone audio simultaneously, a feature PurePC’s reviewer found useful for calls and music during play. It’s a sensible fit for PS5 and PC players who want both audio feeds in one headset without swapping connections mid-session.

SteelSeries lists 50-plus hours of battery life, and PurePC’s continuous-use testing backed up that long-runtime appeal. Less time babysitting a charging cable is welcome, but comfort matters just as much over a weekend campaign. TechRadar and PurePC both praised the fit during extended sessions, with TechRadar specifically finding it comfortable with glasses. Both reviewers also liked the sound; PurePC described the tuning as surprisingly balanced, which makes this easier to recommend for music between matches, too.

Skip it if your gaming spot doubles as the household gathering place. PurePC found the passive noise isolation weak, so the comfortable cushions won’t necessarily keep nearby conversations out. TechRadar also criticized the controls being split between mobile and desktop software. Console players should expect to need desktop software for some features rather than handling every adjustment on their phone.

Long-term durability evidence for this exact generation remains limited. One Reddit owner reported a brief, loud screech at startup, but that isolated account doesn’t establish a widespread defect. The stronger case here is the reviewers’ reported comfort, enjoyable sound, and convenient audio mixing, not a proven multiyear lifespan.
