HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset

Three hundred hours. That’s the rated battery life on the Cloud Alpha Wireless, and it’s the reason this headset stands out. Even if you play every evening, you’re looking at weeks between charges, which means you’ll rarely see a low-battery beep mid-match.

It connects over 2.4GHz wireless to a PC, and HyperX’s dual chamber drivers tune the bass separately from the mids and highs. The idea is to keep low-end rumble from muddying voices and footsteps, so you get clearer detail in busy fights. DTS Headphone:X spatial audio adds a virtual 3D sound stage on top, which can help with placing sounds around you in shooters.

Comfort follows the classic HyperX recipe: plush memory foam, breathable leatherette and a sturdy aluminum frame. The noise-cancelling mic detaches when you just want to listen. It’s primarily a PC headset, and there’s no Bluetooth listed, so it won’t double as your phone headphones. Leatherette pads also tend to get warm over long sessions in summer. For PC players who hate charging gear and want a comfortable wireless headset with dependable sound, it’s a smart choice.
