SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5P Wireless Gaming Headset

PlayStation players who also game on PC or Switch get a lot of flexibility from the Arctis Nova 5P. A small USB-C dongle handles 2.4GHz wireless and moves between PlayStation, PC, Switch, Meta Quest, phones and tablets, and a tap of a button flips over to Bluetooth 5.3.

That quick-switch is handier than it sounds. You can stay connected to your game over 2.4GHz while taking a call or listening to a podcast on your phone, and notification beeps let you know when a call comes in. Battery is rated at 60 hours, and a 15-minute USB-C fast charge gets you about 6 hours if you forget to plug it in.

The companion app has over 100 audio presets tuned for specific games, including Call of Duty, GTA V and FIFA, which saves you fiddling with EQ yourself. The ClearCast 2.X mic is fully retractable, so it disappears into the earcup when you’re not using it. All the controls (power, mute, volume and Bluetooth) are on the headset itself. Presets live in a phone app rather than on the console, which takes some getting used to. As a do-everything wireless headset for PS5 owners, it’s well thought out.
