Razer Viper V4 Pro Wireless Esports Gaming Mouse

Razer built the Viper V4 Pro with competitive shooters in mind, and the spec sheet reads like a checklist from pro players. It weighs 49 grams, about 9% lighter than the last generation, which makes fast, small corrections feel almost weightless.

The most practical change is the battery. You get up to 180 hours at a standard 1000 Hz polling rate, or about 45 hours if you push it to 8000 Hz for the lowest latency. That’s a real choice you can make per game: max it out for ranked sessions in CS2 or Valorant, then drop it back down for casual play. The new Focus Pro 50K sensor tracks up to 930 IPS, and Frame Sync lines up sensor data with your PC to trim delay further.

The scroll wheel uses optical actuation, which Razer says gives more consistent input and longer life, and the Gen-4 optical switches are rated for 100 million clicks with a tactile feel. Grip tape and a USB-A to USB-C cable come in the box, so you can play wired while it charges. At this weight there’s very little to the mouse, so players who like a heavier, planted feel or need a bank of extra buttons should skip it. For serious FPS players chasing every millisecond, it’s about as focused as mice get.
