Gaming in a pitch-dark room is hard on the eyes, but a regular desk lamp tends to throw glare across your screen. The ScreenBar Pro solves that by sitting on top of your monitor and aiming light down at the desk with asymmetric optics, so it lights your keyboard and mouse without bouncing off the display.

It’s bright, with over 1000 lux at the center and 500 lux spread across an area about 33 by 20 inches, which covers a typical gaming desk. An ultrasonic motion sensor turns it on when you sit down and shuts it off after five minutes away, so you never have to remember to switch it off after a late session. Buttons on the bar adjust brightness and color temperature.

The clamp is designed to fit monitors 0.17 to 2.56 inches thick, including curved screens from 1000R to 1800R and monitors with odd back designs or uneven top bezels, and it’s positioned so it won’t block a webcam. Power comes from USB-C or the included adapter. Very thick monitors fall outside that range, so check the depth of yours, and ultrawides wider than the lit area will have dimmer edges. For players who want to see their keyboard at night without lighting up the whole room, it’s an elegant fix.
